I start using talking dict or electronic dictionary when I was 13 years old. At that time I was new in junior high school. My dad bought for me. My first talking dict is "Talking Dict MD88" which price around 10,000 baht.
At that time I want Japanese language but it not sale in Thailand. Inside MD88 have VDO clip that teach Japanese languge and the saler told us that they will have Japanese languge for next month.
So we decided to bought it. (today they also don't have "Japanese dict" ><")
I using it more than 6 years. 
One day, MD88 cann't use on table..... it tilt......
Then I found that the battery is "swell" because we need to change new battery but my dad say that if it still use, just use it (the battery cost more than 200 baht).
So, I stop using it....
For today I use google and ask my friend when I want to know difficult words ^o^//

PS. I offer in Japanese version that I told you before that I ask my friend and Google rather than using talking dict.

私がこの電子辞書を初めて使ったのが13歳の中学1年の時である。お父さんが買ってくれました。MD88という名前で、値段は10,000バーツ(日本円で4,000円くらい)だった。その時は日本語の電子辞書を探していて、MD88には日本語を教えるビデオが入っていた。日本語の辞書版は来月に登録される予定だと言っていた。だから買うことにした。(でも今になってもまだ日本語の辞書版が来てないんですけどね、、、。)
MD88を使い続けて6年の月日が経った、、、、。
そしてある日MD88は机の上に置けなくなった、、、、。
バッテリーが膨張してしまったのだ。バッテリーの交換期限が切れているのを忘れていた。(っていうかバッテリー代高いから買うのもったいないだけ、、、。)
んで、MD88を手放すことになった、、、、。
そして今、グーグルや友達に難しい言葉の意味を聞いている。
